Our sessions are tailored to your fitness levels and previous injuries to ensure you are safely achieving your health and fitness goals. We at J2 encourage you to ask questions and have input into your session planning along the way.

  • Athletic Performance Coach

    Jared has been involved in playing professional sports over the last 10 years. Where he was a part of the Blues, Counties Manukau Steelers & North Harbour rugby. It’s where he grew his passion for Strength & Conditioning after being exposed to high performance sport & working alongside some of the best Strength & Conditioning Coaches in the country.

    After having multiple Knee & Foot Operations, He decided to shift his focus and step away from playing and helping others reach their full potential and live a healthier lifestyle.

    Jared has the understanding and experience of the high demands of reaching your peak performance mentally and physically. He is very passionate in helping others achieve that and giving them to tools to be at their best.

  • Ayrton is a Strength & Conditioning coach who’s worked in rugby, rehab and athletic performance organisations across New Zealand, Japan and the USA. He is passionate in return-to-play, long-term athlete development, and provides performance based programmes to help athletes return to sport after injury, build durable movement quality, coordination, confidence, and strength and power for the demands of sport.

    Ayrton has worked along side some of NZ’s best coaches and athletes in a variety of sports, a former competitive surfer, and now is currently the strength and conditioning coach for Counties Manukau Rugby Club Academy and Franklin Bulls SalsNBL team. With exposure to high performance environments he understands the demands on the athletes physiology and what is required to perform. 

    As a coach, Ayrton is passionate about connection, consistency, reliability and honesty. These values build his approach and philosophy of practical and an evidence-based focus on a ground-up movement foundation.
